Sunbeam Stories

Yesterday, I taught Sharing Time in Primary. With a new group of Sunbeams, you can get a few funny stories, as follows:

First, I walked up and said "We're going to have Sharing Time!" J responds, "Sharon time? Is her name Sharon too?" (his sister's name is Sharon).

So, obviously, the Sunbeams didn't know who I was. I wasn't here last week, so that made sense. I took the opportunity to welcome the new Sunbeams and introduced myself. I introduced myself as "Sister Fletcher" and M looks at me and says "You're not Sister Fletcher! You're Jenna!" With a big smile.

A little later, we were playing our game and I knelt down to talk to J since his dad had stepped out for a minute. (J isn't sure about this Primary stuff yet, so his dad came with him yesterday.) He looks at me and says, "My dad is back, you need to leave and sit in your chair now." I hadn't been sitting in it in the first place due to our game, but I was trying hard not to crack up that I was being ordered to leave by a 3 year old!

I love Primary!

I have NO IDEA who J is, but this is hilarious! Those kids sure know how to keep everyone laughing.
