We decided to head to Seafair for our first time this year. It was super fun! The day started out a little gray, but as you can see below, it cleared up beautifully by the time the airshow started.
Lily was a bit worried by the bi-plane, maybe because in trying to get her interested, I was asking her if it was going to fall when it got to the top of its vertical ascents ;) She was saying "Oh, no!"
And, what we really came to see- the Blue Angels! They were very cool! However, they lost Lily's interest when we tried to use her headphones as earplugs- all she wanted to do was watch her "Ipoh" after that. Oh well, what can you expect from a 22 month old?
Will we go again? Yes, but definitely either earlier or paying for seats next time, our hilly piece of ground hurt by the end! It was a bit of a travel too- park at Qwest Field then take the light rail to a shuttle stop- which wasn't bad on the way there, but was a little difficult when it got bogged down in traffic on the way back- 45 minutes worth! That was too much for Lily after all the sun and crowds. Anyway, come visit us next year during Seafair and you'll really be in for a treat!

We saw the Blue Angels during one of their practices and I decided that I really want to pay for seats next year and see the full show! We should go together! I already can't wait, lol!
