First, proof of the fact that my guest room has, after just over a year in this house, finally been cleaned and gotten new carpet and blinds!! The previous carpet looked like it had been there since the house was built in the 1960's...

This second picture has a peek at the new blinds... not a great picture of it, but, definitely better than the standard, horizontal, broken blinds that were there before. The blinds other blinds were "broken" by my intelligent cats- who chewed through the strings because they thought that they were fun toys. These are stringless, so the cats shouldn't be able to hurt them. lol.

This is a picture of the shelves in the closet- which we put in a few weeks ago- and then I proceeded to fill them with all my craft stuff- maybe I'll get some stuff finished and moved out of there ;)

Also, a couple of the things I've been working on for Lily- first, a crocheted edge flannel blanket

And second, an applique quilt that I've just started. I've never done applique before, so- its going kinda slow, but I like how its turning out so far. There will also be daisies, dragonflies and calla lilies (which were drawn by Daniel).
